Join us for a FREE paddle on the beautiful Lake Okonka and Blue Heron Lagoon on Belle Isle to celebrate National Canoe and Kayak Day. Kayaks, paddles, and life jackets will be provided on a first come, first serve basis. You are also welcome to bring your own kayak/canoe.

This event is open to all ages, youth under 18 will need to accompanied by an adult. State Recreation Passport is required to participate! Registration is encouraged but walk ups are welcome.

This event is in partnership with Black to the Land Coalition, Downriver Linked Greenways and Belle Isle Conservancy.
